The Hyundai Tiburon sports car was available between 1997 and the 2008 model year, excluding 2002. Its inaugural year, the model, a coupe, came in base and FX trims, and it made available a choice of 1.8- and 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engines. In 2003, a 2.7-liter V6-equipped GT trim was offered, and in 2005, you could get either a GS or SE trim.
By 2007, five-speed manual and four-speed automatic transmissions were available, and features ranged from air conditioning and alloy wheels to fog lights and a sport suspension. You could also get cross-drilled brake rotors and aluminum front brake calipers, among other features. The final year the car was available, 2008, options included a tilt-and-slide sunroof, cargo net, timed rear-window defroster, and heated and powered outside mirrors.
